Salman Khan Turns Generous for ‘Mental’ Actress Daisy Shah, Pays For Surgery

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has shown his generous side yet again and this time the subject of his affection is his "Mental" co-star Daisy Shah.

The "Dabanng" star who reportedly shares a good chemistry with Daisy and has gone a step further by shelling out her high medical bills.

Daisy was recently admitted to a Shivaji Park Hospital for 48 hours for a weight reduction process and Salman, the perfect gentleman that he is, went ahead to clear her bill.

A source in the hospital revealed to Mid Day, "She (Daisy) ran up a bill of around Rs 1.5 lakh and Salman paid for it."   

While it may not come as a surprise since Salman is known for his generous acts to friends. Reports have been rife over the budding friendship between the the actors. The duo has often been spotted spending time together post shooting, either going for long walks or cycling in the locales of Lavassa.

The tabloid also reported that Daisy consults Salman regarding most issues.

Recently, Salman was said to have called of his romance with Romanian television host Iulia Vantur. Iulia is now said to be moving back to her homeland.

Salman had initially approached Daisy for "Bodyguard" but the actress turned it down citing date issues. Later, she was inducted for the Sohail Khan directed "Mental" which also stars ex-Big Boss contestant and model Sana Khan.

Salman's generous act was recently witnessed as he defended fellow co-star Sana despite an FIR being filed against her. The actor took to Twitter to extend his support for the actress who he believed was made a scapegoat. Sana along with her cousin was charged with abduction of a young girl.
