Lady Gaga In Twitter War With Blogger Perez Hilton [PHOTOS]
hen Lady Gaga is in feud with someone, makes it to CNN. And this time it's the war of the words happening on the social media between none other than gossip blogger Perez Hilton and his one-time friend and "wifey" pop star Lady Gaga.
The apparent war started when Hilton tweeted Thursday that Lady Gaga's rival Katy Perry's new single, "Roar," is better than Gaga's single "Applause."
Gaga did not take this criticism in a good way and hit back on Hilton on Friday saying, "Still have the text Perez sent me of me in a wheelchair with the words KARMA written across + Madonna pointing a gun at me." The singer referred to the time when she was discovered with a serious hip injury.
However, Gaga could not hold back her emotions and went to Twitter again on Sunday to accuse the blogger of stalking her!
"STAY AWAY FROM ME + MY FAMILY YOU ARE SICK TRYING TO RENT AN APARTMENT IN MY BUILDING TO STALK ME. LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" she tweeted in Caps.
Hilton, who now resides in Los Angeles, announced his plans to shift base to New York to raise his son who suffers from Down's syndrome.
Perez Hilton was quick to respond to Gaga's tweets on his blog and expressed his hurt on Sunday in a post titled "A Statement On Lady GaGa's Lies."
"After a day of innocent house-hunting, I am devastated and my heart hurts that my former very good friend, a person I used to call my 'wifey' and traveled the world with, is making very public and very untrue allegations about me on Twitter," the social media blogger wrote, adding "it is still too painful" to reveal what caused the end of their friendship.
The hurt Perez Hilton says he is receiving death threats from Gaga's fans who have also posted derogatory comments about his 6-month-old son.
"If her fans want to send a message of support to Lady GaGa, they should buy her music," Hilton wrote with a hint of maintaining his stand on how he still believes Gaga's album is a flop as compared to Katy Pery's.
The war of the words did not end here as Gaga tweeted "I've been quiet for a long time, not this time" to which Hilton remarked that the "truth will all eventually come out. It usually does!"
