'Man of Steel' Australian Actor, Russell Crowe Reveals Michael Jackson Used to Stalk Him [PHOTOS]
Australian actor Russell Crowe reveals that Michael Jackson used to stalk him when the late pop icon was still alive. Crowe made the revelation amidst promotional tours of his latest film, "Man of Steel".
Back in the day, the "Beautiful Mind" actor recalls how Paris Jackson’s dad would phone him on the phone and tease him.
"Michael Jackson used to tease me on the phone," Crowe was quoted as revealing in a UK interview, according to The Daily Telegraph UK.
The New Zealand born actor then continued the phone conversation, describing how Michael sounded like on the other end of the line.
Russell recalled, "He'd ring me and in a strong voice say, 'There is an emergency and you need to leave the building.' I'd ask, 'Who is this?' And he'd say, 'Do not worry Russell, just kidding, this is Michael.'"
A look at Russell’s body of works showed no immediate records of any collaboration between him and Michael. But the two celebrities have one thing in common: music. Russell began his career as a music artist in the mid-1980s. It was about the same time Michael propelled to international superstardom as he made his way on stage with his Billie Jean.
The Aussie actor, who had made quite a performance playing the role of Javert in the film adaptaion, "Les Miserables", is featured in the latest installment of "Man of Steel" as Superman’s biological father, Jor-El.
