Jr NTR Follows Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun, to Flaunt Six-Pack Abs in 'Ramayya Vasthavayya'

After Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR is all set to go shirtless and flaunt his six-pack abs in his upcoming film, "Ramayya Vasthavayya."

Allu Arjun was instrumental in triggering a craze for six-pack abs in Tollywood. He became the first Telugu actor to show his abs in his 2007 film, "Desamuduru." Some other popular stars, who have had six pack abs, include Nagarjuna and Rana Daggubati.

Superstar Mahesh Babu will also be seen showing his physique in his upcoming film, "One -Nenokkadaine."

In a move to keep up with the current "shirtless" trend in Tollywood, Jr NTR has also decided to work on his physique and flaunt his abs onscreen. The actor is training under John Shumate, who was introduced to the star by his "Baadshah" co-actor Ajaz Khan.

"NTR Jr was very keen on getting fit. He was on the lookout for a trainer and that's when I suggested John's name to him," Ajaz told a leading daily. "His fans are in for a real treat when they'll see him go shirtless on screen. Tarak has worked really hard on his physique," he added.

Produced by Dil Raju and directed by Harish Shankar, "Ramayya Vasthavayya" will have Jr NTR as a college student. The film is about how the hero tackles issues and leads a revolution against a system.

The first look teaser of the film has received fantastic response from film buffs. One particular dialogue that Jr NTR delivered has become a rage among his fans [Watch teaser]. Expectations are huge for the film, as his last release "Baadshah" did great business at the box office.

Actresses Samantha plays the female lead while Shruti Haasan will be seen in a special role. The shooting of the film is currently progressing at a brisk pace.
