Kamal Haasan's "Vishwaroopam 2" is yet to hit the theatres but speculations around his next film with Lingusamy has begun.

It was earlier reported that Kamal would wield the megaphone for a new film to be produced by Lingusamy under Tirupathi Brothers banner. Now, we heard that the project has been titled "Uthama Villain", which will be a comedy thriller flick.

Earlier, Kamal had planned to name the film as "Bitter Chocolate" but has now opted for "Uthama Villain", according to Indiaglitz.

However, an official announcement on the title is yet to be made.

The film is expected to be a laugh riot as the story and screenplay will be done by Crazy Mohan, who has worked with Kamal in several hit films including "Vasool Raja MBBS", "Avvai Shanmugi" and "Michael Madhana Kamarajan."

Reports suggest that Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose the music of the film.

There were also rumours about the film's leading lady. Actress Kajal Aggarwal, who is in demand after the success of her latest films including Vijay's "Thuppakki" (Tamil) and Jr NTR's "Baadshah" (Telugu), was reportedly chosen for the female lead role.

Now, there is a strong buzz that Kajal would not be able to take up the film as she could not allot the dates needed for the project. The film team is reportedly scouting for the leading lady. Actress Divya Spandana of "Polladhavan" fame and Lekha Washington are said to be the top contenders  for the female lead role.

Another interesting tidbit about the film is that comedian Vivek might be a part of the project. In that case, Vivek would be teaming up with Kamal for the first time.

"Uthama Villian" is expected to hit the floors in October, 2013 after Kamal completes "Vishwaroopam" sequel. An official announcement on the film's cast is expected to be announced soon.
