Beauty is subjective. There are different perceptions about beauty and what people find beautiful. But after Gwyneth Paltrow was named the "Most Beautiful Woman" by people magazine, some bashers on Twitter couldn't help but react.
The 40-year-old actress was an unexpected pick from a long list of beautiful actresses in Hollywood. However, People magazine made their decision final because of her "timeless look."
Gwyneth managed to beat other young actresses also worthy of the title like Jennifer Lawrence, Amanda Seyfried, and her best friend Beyonce who was given the "Most Beautiful Woman" title last year.
But while Gwyneth must be honored and happy, the news attracted bashers on Twitter. On the social networking site, users have voiced out negative comments towards the "Iron Man" actress.
"If Gwyneth Paltrow is the most beautiful woman in the world then I'm a ten times Olympic bobsled gold medalist and Top Gun fighter pilot," one user said.
"So People magazine has declared Gwyneth Paltrow is the world's most beautiful woman, I wonder how they decide this. Bunch of c**p," another said.
Gwyneth is not particularly the most adored celebrity in Hollywood. In fact, she was highly criticized for her advocacy in "clean living." She has been accused of being arrogant and giving advice from cooking to dressing up.
But despite her bashers, Gwyneth Paltrow seems unaffected with the comments regarding her new title. During the premier of "Iron Man 3" in Hollywood, she proved that she's not only the most beautiful but also the most daring when it comes to fashion pieces.
The actress was dressed in a very sheer gown that revealed her hip side and forced her to go commando. It might be her way to deal with her bashers and step out as a more confident woman, but surely enough, her wardrobe pick will create more criticism.
