The South Korean electronics giant, Samsung had recently un-wrapped its latest flagship smartphone - Galaxy S4 and rumors have already started surfacing that the company may release its next Galaxy Note and Galaxy Tab soon.
According to a recent post on SamMobile, which tracks Samsung-related rumors, Samsung could be unveiling the next generation of Galaxy Note along with Galaxy Tab 3 at IFA 2013.
IFA 2013 is a leading trade show for Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances, held every year in Berlin and this year the trade show is scheduled to be held between Sep. 6 to 11.
The post on SamMobile has not specified any details regarding the exact specifications or features for both the devices. However, earlier rumors around the web suggest that the Galaxy Note 3 is expected to get a high 6.3 inch display made by Sharp and it will possibly feature its very own Exynos 5 Octa processor.
Other rumored features of Note 3 includes 2GB of RAM, Adrono 320 graphic processor unit, 13 megapixel camera along with many similar features of recently released Galaxy S4 and will operate with Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) or probably Android 5.0 (Key Lime Pie) along with TouchWiz UI (user interface).
The previous version, Galaxy Note 2 was also announced at the last years IFA event in Berlin. It sports a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED high-definition display and features a powerful quad-core processor. The Galaxy Note 2 had received a good response from the users globally and Samsung shipped 5 million units in the first two months since its launch.
Furthermore, SamMobile also noted that Samsung will stop providing Android updates for its first generation Galaxy Tab that was launched 2 years ago, while the second generation Galaxy Tab 2 will receive update till Android 4.2.2 and the company will discontinue further OS update.
