Live Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update for Motorola Droid RAZR HD and MAXX HD

A latest Over-the-Air update begins pushing to both versions of RAZR HD and MAXX HD from Motorola. The update includes several changes and security patches from Google, including the fix for data roaming.

The latest update has the build version 9.16.6 and features several software improvements, detection of USB cable improvement and better Wi-Fi connectivity. The wallpaper options have been added when selecting home screen icons, the camera app received an improvement to its touch-to-focus function, and there are changes on notifications bar and low-light performance. The headset connectivity is much better, fixing the pixilation on video streaming, and the media sync issues are gone.

A few months ago, a push update occurred with Jelly Bean firmware version as well and delivered changes to the Droid RAZR HD.

  • Notifications bar is accessible through the lock screen. Notifications from messaging or Gmail are displayed and selecting them jumps you to the app.
