"Black and Silver [HTC One] stocks are due to arrive on March 25th (slightly delayed from the original date provided by HTC due to component supply issues)," announces MobiCity. The HTC One price tag is marked $759 for online shoppers. HTC One release date was previously set on Mar. 15. However, issues were encountered in the production of its ultrapixels camera.
HTC One Display, Specs
The One is not joining the 5-inch phones competition, but it is definitely in the contest for the most stunning display. Its 4.7-inch display features the Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen technology, enhanced by Corning Gorilla Glass 2 (1080 x 1920 p, 469 pixels per inch). CNET UK reported, "The HTC One gives the impression of a solid, dependable mobile." Reviews for the One are mostly positive across several major tech sites.
HTC One will run on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. An update to v4.2.2 is expected to come out shortly. Under the hood is a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600, 2 GB of RAM and storage variants of 32 GB and 64 GB.
HTC's latest innovations include the Blinkfeed and Zoe Camera. Users of the Flipboard app will enjoy Blinkfeed for its highly customizable feature. This news and social media content aggregator allows users to keep up to date with the big social and world picture in a blink. The Zoe Camera changes mobile photography trends today. It allows users to pick a still off of a 3-sec video, and it creates a gallery of beautiful moving pictures. The One's ultrapixels is also great in low-light conditions. (Don't be fooled by the 4MP spec. Reviewers say that ultrapixels yield quality photos that could have been taken with an 8MP or even 13MP phone.
