Following the success of high-end Xperia Z and ZL, Sony Mobile Communications Monday announced the launch of two new Xperia smartphone models to join its 2013 line up - the Xperia SP and Xperia L.

Both the Xperia SP and Xperia L offers the best of Sony with stunning premium designs and a range of technologies including a high quality screen for the ultimate viewing experience, the latest camera features for impressive prictures and videos, NFC connectivity for One-touch function, Battery STAMINA mode for extended battery life, and the company's signature media apps for enjoying photos, musics, movies and games on the go.

Sony claims that the Xperia L is the perfect smartphone for camera experience. The handset features an 8 megapixel camera at the back with Exmor RS for mobile sensor technology for vivid colours and surprising clarity.

The device also has HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology, which ensures that both photos and video are captured clearly even in low light.
