For those with creative minds and business-inclined ideas, Kickstarter seems like a great way to takeoff, especially when all you have is that idea to begin with. You pitch it to potential backers and customers, see if they like the idea, and if they do, you might just land yourself the big break.

Kristen Bell is still holding out hope for a movie adaptation of “Veronica Mars” despite legal obstacles in the way, she told Vulture in an interview on Wednesday. Although she hasn’t offered fans any concrete developments yet, the actress indicated during interviews to promote her latest film “Hit and Run,” with boyfriend Dax Sheppard, that she’s still pushing to make a film based on the TV show about a teenager who begins helping out with her father’s private investigation business after her best friend is murdered.
Many projects, from business and entrepreneurship to gaming and mini movies, have found their way to success through Kickstarter. Nowadays, talk about Kickstarter involves the success of cult-favorite Veronica Mars, which has broken the record and rebuilt the notion that Kickstarter may be the avenue
Skyrim composer pitches a symphony campaign at $10,000
Skyrim fans would know the name Jeremy Soule as the composer of The Elder Scrolls: V Skyrim, and according to EuroGamer, he is now bent on creating his Soule Symphony No. 1, "The Northerner."

Veronica Mars Aftermath: Kickstarter campaign for two more series?
Here's a recap of what happened in less than a week's time. To date, 55,004 backers are in on the project, totaling more than $3.6 million of pledges for the movie, even with 26 more days to go until the funding period is over.
In a record-breaking time of 4 hours and 24 minutes, CBS News reports that the Kickstarter campaign reached $1 million pledge, which is half of its target pledge. And apparently, it seems that a Veronica Mars movie is really, truly in the works.
Because of this, other cult favorite series who have been cancelled or forced to end on budget have started to seek out potential ways to duplicate this Kickstarter success for the better.
For instance, Zachary Levi, the star of the geeky spy series Chuck, has teased to Chuckster fans of a possible way to green light a Chuck movie.
"To you Chucksters, believe that this news only bolsters my faith that I can help bring you a #ChuckMovie. Be patient. Stay tuned," he posted in a tweet last March 13.
According to InsideTV, Levi has tried to pitch a Chuck movie even before, and with the success of Veronica Mars, this may just be the ticket to it, even when there are no definitive plans as of now.
"All I can say at this point is that because Veronica Mars, like Chuck, is a Warner Bros. [production], and because Warner Bros. has now opened that gate, I feel confident in being able to get the same results for a Chuck movie," said Levi to InsideTV.
According to the actor, there are other ways to manage the project aside from Kickstarter, and that what the Veronica Mars success did was to merely show that fan dedication can be the last boost to fruition.
Pushing Daisies
Pushing Daisies seems to be another cult favorite, which can find its footing through Kickstarter. In an interview with HitFix, Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas has also mentioned that creator Bryan Fuller has also hinted of a possible meet-up to discuss the success of the Veronica Mars, something that fans have now come to hope would be a Veronica Mars campaign version for Pushing Daisies.
"I did get an email from Bryan Fuller earlier today saying. 'Hey, can you jump on the phone with me at some point? I know you're busy, but I would love to talk to you about how this thing works.' And I know it was specifically for Pushing Daisies," said Thomas to HitFix.
