For a long time, she's been busy being a mother to her daughter Blue Ivy. But on Sunday, Queen B released a snippet of her new track on her official website.

On Sunday, Beyoncé released her new track titled "Bow Down/I Been On" together with a photo of herself as a child in a room full of trophies. The song addresses her absence in the music industry that has been for a while and asserts her throne as Queen Bey in the charts. Unlike most of her upbeat or power belting songs, her new track is causing controversy and dividing her fans.

As Beyoncé's Mrs. Carter World tour sells out, the singer has been added to the line up of the 19th annual Essence Festival.

The lyrics of the song were more aggressive this time and is way beyond discreet. A line from the track reads, "I know when you were little girls you dreamt of being in my world. Don't forget it. Respect that. Bow Down b******." If the lyrics of the song were picked out from one of Rihanna's singles, it wouldn't be quite a shock.

"I took my time to live my life but don't think I'm just his little wife. Don't get it twisted this is my sh*t," reads another line from the three minute and 34 seconds audio clip.

It looks like Beyoncé's new track is a selection of two songs. "Bow Down" is said to have been produced by Hit-Boy while it is believed that Beyoncé have worked with Timbaland on "I Been On."

Although there are divided reactions towards her new single, Beyoncé impressed British singer Cheryl Cole. The singer posted a link on her Twitter account that directs to Beyoncé's track posted on her official website.
