Why Lindsay Lohan Says NO to House Arrest Deal [PHOTOS]
Embattled actress Lindsay Lohan has reportedly turned down a court offer for house arrest deal that would have made the case on probation violation easy on her. The Mean Girls star insists she has done no wrong and therefore, house arrest or any deal for that matter is not an option.
Citing a report by TMZ, the Huffington Post noted that the actress’s camp refused the house arrest deal offered by the prosecutors in an effort to help her out of jail.
Reports have it that Lohan was offered a 90-day house arrest for reportedly violating the probation case she was facing that stemmed from the Sta.Monica-car accident last June 8, 2012.
According to TMZ, the troubled starlet reiterated no wrongdoing and therefore she was out to prove she committed no mistakes instead of staying indoors for three months.
This isn’t the first time that Lohan has rejected a deal from the court. In January 2013, the actress was also given a chance to work out a deal for probation violation had she agreed to a six-month probation. But she said no early this year, claiming yet again, that she had done nothing wrong.
In the case, the Parent Trap star, according to Huffington Post, citing a report by the New York Daily News, was charged with “willfully obstructing the investigation, reckless driving and lying to the police in December.”
This resulted in the judge’s decision to revoke the 2011 probation order that resulted from the much-talked about necklace-robbing incident.
The actress is facing 19 months jail time and another 245 days for violating the probation cases hurled against her should the case goes to trial and Lohan failed to prove that indeed she has done nothing wrong.
