Users of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 can join others who are rejoicing with their new Jelly Bean update. The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 has received an update and available in four different ways - Over-the-Air, Samsung Kies, Manual Update, and of course via CyanogenMod 10.

To perform an OTA update, go to "Settings - About Tablet/Device" click on the software update to receive your Jelly Bean. The Samsung Kies way requires the PC suite of tablet which can be obtained from the Samsung Web site. Once you have installed on your computer, connect your tablet and begin the update.

The third option is flashing by manual update. You can download the entire firmware from Samsung and install it manually, using the zip file of Firmware. Another version of a manual update is using CyanogenMod 10 which offers more features than the stock firmware.

Warning: Flashing a custom ROM will void the device's warranty. The developer will not be held responsible for any damages to your device; do this at your own risk.

Requirements:

1. Download the CyanogenMod 10 and Google Apps on your computer and copy both of the package files to the device's SD card.

2. Have a ClockworkMod Recovery installed and working on your tablet.

3. Reboot your device to "Recovery mode" by pressing Power and Volume key at the same time.

4. In the recovery mode, select "Install zip from SD card" and use the volume keys to navigate your way.

5. Select the CyanogenMod 10 package file and use the Power key to install.

6. Select the Google apps package and install it as well.

7. After the installation, go back and select "Wipe data/factory reset".

8. After wiping data, select " Reboot system now".

9. Wait for 5 to 10 minutes until the reboot is finished, and enjoy the CyanogenMod 10 for your Galaxy Tab 2 7.0.

For users who wants to upgrade from an earlier version of Cyanogenmod:

1. Copy the CM10 zip file to the SD card.

2. Reboot to recovery mode.

3. Flash the CM10 file.

4. Reboot the device.
