"Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns" witnessed a good jump in its earnings on the second day of its release in India. The second installment flick, released on 8 March, made approximately ₹4.25 crore on Saturday at the domestic box office.

The two-day total of the film directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia stands at ₹7.76 crore.
"#SahebBiwiAurGangsterReturns Sat 4.25 cr. Good jump in Mumbai, DelhiUP, Punjab and Eastern circuits," trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.
"#SahebBiwiAurGangsterReturns picked up in evening/night shows on Friday. Collected ₹3.51 crore," he tweeted on Saturday.
In just two days, the makers of "Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns" have won back the total budget of the film. As expected, the film picked up during the weekend and managed to rake in good collections in Delhi, UP, Mumbai, Punjab and eastern circuits.
The film is doing way better than its prequel which was released in 2011. "Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster" did a lifetime business of ₹7-8 crore approximately, while the sequel collected ₹7 crore in just two days.

Till now "Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns" had made excellent earnings at collection centres and its business is expected to grow more on Sunday. With no major competition, the film will likely dominate the silver screen this week.
The film features Jimmy Shergill, Mahie Gill, Irrfan Khan and Soha Ali Khan in the lead roles. Raj Babbar, Deepraj Rana and Parvesh Rana have taken up the supporting roles.
