Canadian Pop Star Justin Bieber collapsed on stage due to shortness of breath during a concert in London and had to be rushed to hospital Thursday, multiple sources have revealed.
A source close to the 19-year-old singer told TMZ that he was feeling dizzy during the show at the O2 Arena and while he still had four songs to perform, he stumbled and fainted.
The teen singer was dragged inside a private room and was given oxygen by paramedics. He declined to go to the hospital insisting to finish the show for his fans.
In a video of the concert posted online, his manager, Scooter Braun, appears onstage and tells the audience at the arena that the singer was "very light of breath, the whole show he has been complaining."
After taking a 20-minute break, he returned to the stage amid laud ovation.
The singer was taken to the hospital immediately after the show and is undergoing treatment although he tweeted later that he is recovering steadily.
"Getting better," his Twitter post read, "Thanks for everyone pulling me thru tonight. Best fans in the world. Figuring out what happened. Thanks for the love."
The singer had last suffered a concussion after falling into a glass wall when he collapsed onstage during a performance in Paris last June.
