Bumble Bee Foods LLC is voluntarily recalling some five-ounce cans of its Chunk White Albacore and Chunk Light Tuna over concerns of spoilage. There have no been any reports of illness related to these products, the company said.

The San Diego-based company said late Wednesday it issued the recall of cans distributed for retail sale nationwide between Jan. 17, 2013, and Feb. 28, 2013, because the seals on the cans may not be tight enough.

Consumers who bought these products should discard them in the garbage, privately held Bumble Bee said.
