The latest buzz in tinsel town is that Bollywood actors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan will once again be seen sharing screen together in director Farah Khan's next venture.

According to reports, Farah has approached Aishwarya for her her directorial titled "Happy New Year".

Shahrukh and Aishwarya were last seen together on big screen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 2002 release "Devdas", which also starred Madhuri Dixit. The movie was a huge hit at the box office and was branded as the most expensive movie of Bollywood till now.

Apart from "Devdas", the duo also starred in "Mohabbatein" (2000) and "Josh" (2002).

Shahrukh and Aishwarya were set to do another film in 2003 named "Chalte Chalte", when her then boyfriend Salman Khan reportedly disrupted the shooting of the movie after which Shahrukh replaced her with Rani Mukherjee.

After Rani was roped in for the movie, the former Miss Universe was not in good terms with Shahrukh. But recent reports state that the two have sorted it out between them, and if Aishwarya takes up "Happy New Year" it will mark their comeback on the big screen after a gap of 11 years. 

Filmfare reported that Farah has also signed Abhishek Bachchan for "Happy New Year". She is also waiting for a confirmation from Aishwarya who has not taken up any big projects post her pregnancy.

The movie, which is based on friendship, will also feature Boman Irani and south Indian actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, according to reports.

Meanwhile, rumours are rife that Farah is also considering to have Katrina Kaif play Sharukh's lady love in "Happy New Year".
