Akshay Kumar starrer "Special 26", which is about to complete four weeks of screening, continues to earn reasonably well at overseas box office but it very unlikely to cross ₹100 crore mark as the collections have dipped drastically over the weeks.

The critically acclaimed heist film directed by Neeraj Pandey and produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures opened in 1750 screens across India.

"#Special26 *total till Sunday* UK £ 238,038 [₹1.96 cr], USA $ 1,053,684 [₹5.78 cr], Aus A$ 206,384 [₹1.15 cr], NZ NZ$ 76,611 [₹34.55 lacs]," tweeted popular trade analyst and film critic taran Adarsh on Tuesday. Now, the total overseas earning stands at ₹9.44 crore.

The film earned ₹44 crore in the first week and ₹18 crore in the second week, taking the total to ₹62 crore, according to report by Taran Adarsh. It is reported that the film earned ₹3.25 crores in the third week, taking the worldwide collection to ₹74.68 crore.

With the box office collection continuing to dip and new films being released, "Special 26" is unlikely to cross ₹100 mark.

It will be Akshay Kumar's fourth consecutive film after "Joker", "OMG" and "Khiladi 786" not to cross the ₹100 mark.

"Special 26", also known as "Special Chabbis", is inspired by a real-life incident that happened in 1987, where a group of people raided an Opera House by posing as CBI officers. The film features Akshay Kumar, Kajal Aggarwal, Jimmy Shergill, Manoj Bajpai, Anupam Kher and Divya Dutta int eh lead roles.
