Taking note of the above specs, Lava's new smartphone is competitively priced compared to other budget and mid-range smartphones.
With a price tag of just ₹7,500, Iris 430 can give Nokia's upcoming mid-range Lumia 620 (₹15,199) a run for its money. Both smartphones feature similar dual-core processors, RAM capacity and camera specifications. In a price-sensitive market like India, Lava Iris 430 can make a dent on Lumia 620 sales.
Lava recently began a 'BLOCKBUSTER PHONEDAY' campaign on the company website to launch new smartphones every Friday. It has indeed been releasing quite a few smartphones since last month, including Iris 454, Iris 5o2, Iris 351 and the 7-inch E-Tab Xtron tablet.
