Working people tired of spending their whole day in front of the computer or assembling parts in a factory could try their options in getting a dream job.

Imagine spending the entire day garbed in a bikini and going around Australia's beaches and only needing to communicate with your bosses via your smartphone or tablet!

That dream may come true for young workers who would join Tourism Australia's Best Job in the World contest launched on Monday. The agency will award very alluring jobs to six winners of the competition in its bid to attract more younger tourists to the land down under.

Winners will be given Working Holiday Maker visas which permit young tourists to travel and work at the same time for 12 months while on an R&R in Australia.

The six positions open are lifestyle photographer in Melbourne, chief funster in New South Wales, outback adventurer in the Northern Territory, park ranger in Queensland, wildlife caretaker in South Australia and taste master in Western Australia.

The six winners will be given six-month contract and be paid $100,000 for the entire duration of the contract, plus living expenses.

The target of the contest is mainly young people from UK and Ireland where youth unemployment rate is quite high, although it is also open to citizens of other nations, said Tourism Australia Managing Director Andrew McEvoy.

The promo takes off from Queensland's original campaign in 2009 won by Brit Ben Southall who got a high-paying job as caretaker of the tropical island in The Whitsundays.

The promo taps several key tourism partners such as Virgin Australia, STA Travel, Citibank, Dell, Ikea, Sony Music and Monster.com.
