Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Have Become an 'Iconic Couple,' Says Twilight Co-Star [PHOTOS]
Twilight lovers, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, have been described as “iconic couple" by their co-star, Erik Odom who played the villainous Peter in the final installment of Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2.
Odom was interviewed by The Oakland Press on the eve of the DVD release of the Breaking Dawn Finale on March 2, 2013. The Dead Ones star who described himself as a movie nerd, was all praises for the Twilight couple as they created life both on-screen and off-screen, as they were.
“There's been such an overlap of how iconic the characters are, but also how iconic Kristen and Rob are," Odom was quoted as saying by The Oakland Press.
He emphasized that the characters of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan could not have been better played by anyone than Robert and Kristen. Odom things that the big shots in the Twilight series have done a good job when they set their eyes on Robsten to play the parts.
Odom noted: "The filmmakers really got it right with Kristen and Rob.”
The To Hell and Back actor characterized vampire Peter in Breaking Dawn. He was one of to take care of the newborns (newly infected vampire) and had developed close relationship with Jasper, Alice's boyfriend.
To do this, Odom had to spend a lot of time with Robert and Kristen. Working with the Twilight couple, the star for a TV series, It’s Supernatural, knows exactly what he was talking about when he described how iconic Robsten are as Edward and Bella and how they have become in real life.
"When [they got] together, it became bigger than anyone could have imagined," Odom asserted in the interview.
Aside from Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, Odom also appeared on a number of short films, including A Gift Divine (2009), Standing Outside (2010). He also participated in a couple of television series such as The Bureau (2009) where he played a college student and Wicked Attraction (2009) where he played Cliff Sanders.
