Samsung India on Friday announced a new series of Ultrabooks, namely 7 Chronos and Series 7, at the Samsung Forum 2013 event in Hyderabad.
Both the laptops run on the latest Windows 8 operating system and are available with Intel's Core i5 and Core i7 processor variants.
The 730U39 model is the first of the Series 7 Ultrabooks; it sports a full aluminum body with full HD display. The 7 Chronos series laptops sports 300 unit bright display with JBL optimized speakers, powered a battery which is capable of providing a marathon of 11.5 hours back-up.

Samsung claims that the both the devices will come with security slots that help secure the device to a stationary object.
The retail availability and price of the ultrabook models are still under wraps.
The 7 Chronos and Series 7 were made their first appearance at the Consumer Electronics Show in January.
