Canadian smartphone maker BlackBerry recently launched its flagship Z10 handset in India a month of its global unveiling.
Rival Nexus 4, despite recording huge sales globally, is still yet to make its debut in the one of the world's fastest growing smartphone market - India.
Will the BlackBerry make use of the delayed Nexus 4 launch by aggressively marketing its Z10 smartphone to gain an upper hand? Well, that remains to be seen.

Remark:
Both smartphones Nexus 4 and BlackBerry Z10 match spec-to-spec in terms of graphics processing unit, memory, and camera features. But BlackBerry Z10's has three major drawbacks - its dual core processor is no match to Nexus 4's quad-core processor and another detrimental factor is that its mobile OS BlackBerry 10 is very new in the mobile OS arena and it has just over 70,000 apps.
On the other hand, the Nexus 4 which runs on the Android OS has a well established ecosystem of its own. Android has a big collection of more than 675,000 apps.
BlackBerry's third major weakness would be its overpriced ₹43,500 plus price tag, where as Nexus 4(in USA) is priced around $300(around ₹16,250) for 8GB model and $350(₹19,000) for 16GB.
If the Nexus 4 is released in a similar price range in the price-sensitive Indian market, it would likely make a dent on BlackBerry Z10 sales.
