There were several big winners at the 2013 Oscars Sunday. "Argo" won for Best Picture and Ang Lee won for Best Directing for “Life if Pi,” while Jennifer Lawrence won for Best Actress for “Silver Linings Playbook” and Daniel Day-Lewis won for Best Actor for “Lincoln”. Many of the evening's winners gave evocative and memorable speeches; from falls to kilts, the Academy Awards featured the year’s best of the best.

Lawrence tripped on her dress and fell as she approached the stage to accept her award.
Best Actor: Daniel Day-Lewis
Lewis joked that he was originally to play Margaret Thatcher in "The Irony Lady" while his award presenter, Meryl Streep was to play Lincoln.
Supporting Actor Christoph Waltz
Waltz notably won the same award for his role in "Inglourious Basterds" in 2010.
Supporting Actress Anne Hathaway
This is Hathaway's first Academy Award.
Animated Feature Film "Brave"
The film's writer, Mark Andrews wore a kilt to the Oscars, which he claims was not intentional.
