The 2013 Brit Awards turned out to be a big night in music for both the British and the Americans Wednesday. Justin Timberlake performed his new song “Mirrors” for the first time, and Frank Ocean and Lana Del Ray took home the Brit Awards for Best International Artist, male and female.

One Direction might have lost British Group to Mumford & Sons, but the boys who rose to fame on “The X Factor” were honored with the Global Success Award.

The lads jumped up from their seats and triumphantly hugged each other, clearly thrilled with the win.
