It seems as if the time has come for Chris Brown to be threatened.

The music superstar has no shortage of enemies-from Drake to Frank Ocean to a slew of celebrities and non-celebrities eager to offer him a piece of their minds regarding the Rihanna incident four years ago. Despite his experience with critics, it can't be something even the street-smart Brown get used to: a gang member storming up and issuing threats right at his face.

A report from TMZ says Brown was leaving a club called the Playhouse the previous week when a hot-headed member of the gang Crips approached him and began shouting threats to Rihanna's on-again off-again beau. The gang member was reported to be fuming, even asking if Brown's car is bulletproof-a thinly veiled threat if there ever was one.

Perhaps it speaks of change in Brown's character-however slight-that the famous singer refused to be drawn into an outright fight with the angry fan. When TMZ asked him about the incident, he simply shrugged and said, "It's L.A. brother. You just gotta keep your head down and keep walking."

That's not to say Brown did not muster enough bravado to talk back to the unidentified gang member. Witnesses say the singer did hurl back some curses to his attacker, although he ultimately chose to drive away from the scene before the situation escalated into something more violent.

In a strange coincidence, Rihanna was also attacked by an angry stranger as she partied with Cara Delevingne.

eports say the Stay hit maker fell over and scraped her knee after a stranger threw a bottle of sports drinks at her and screamed a barrage of insults at the singer. Many of the insults were related to the reconciliation of Rihanna with Brown, which many found disturbing and inappropriate for someone in the public eye.
