Chelsea's Frank Lampard gave the Blues a 3-0 advantage with a goal in the 71st minute against Brentford Sunday.
Chelsea consistently outhustled the Bees on the break, with 10 shots on goal, and converted three scores in front of the net.
Forward Juan Mata kick started Chelsea’s attack in the 54th just at the top of the area with powerful shot, and Oscar followed up in the 68th after Branislav Ivanovic slipped past the Brentford backline and fed the midfielder for his second FA Cup goal of the season and a 2-0 advantage.
Later in the 71st minute, Frank Lampard padded the lead with his 138th career goal at Stamford Bridge, after hanging back during a Chelsea break and firing in an assist from Mata.
Oscar’s most impressive feat may not have been his goal, but the soaring cross he fed John Terry in the 81st that led to a header that zipped between the arms of Brentford keeper Simon Moore.
