Andre Villas-Boas says he's unsure whether William Gallas has a future with Tottenham as he has a wealth of centre-backs to choose from in his current squad.
Gallas has become one of the more senior members of the Spurs line up this season and, with his contract running out in the summer, competition is getting all the more difficult with the likes of Michael Dawson and Jan Vertonghen vying for a place in the starting line-up.

And though Villas-Boas says Gallas has been an important member of the Tottenham squad this season, he is unsure over whether he will stay beyond the summer.
"We won't start another season with five centre-backs," he explained to Sky Sports. "It's a difficult one.
"We have five top central defenders at the moment - a mixture of young players coming through with lots of experience, and then you have such tremendous central defenders as William, Dawson and Younes Kaboul.
"William has been a massive player for us this season. He's a player we trust a lot. Whatever we decide regarding his future, we'll have to wait and see, but we are aware of what a presence he's been for us this season."
When asked if he would stay at Tottenham next season, Gallas added: "I don't know. I don't think about it."
Meanwhile, Dawson looked set to leave Tottenham in the summer, but after the 29 year old stayed with the club, Villas-Boas admits in hindsight it was a good move.
"Yes. I think we appreciate the fact we were able to hang on to him," he explained.
"We ended up being on the better side by the fact he agreed to stay with us. We were lucky in that sense."
