Canadian International Auto Show (CIAS) is the country's largest annual auto show and most prestigious consumer event in Canada. Since 1974 the event has been held in Toronto.
As every other year, the 2013 CIAS will also host countless new models of cars from numbers of car manufacturers from around the world. To make the 40th anniversary successful, the 2013 CIAS, combines a glorious past, the best of the present and visions of the future.
The show is scheduled to beginning on February 15 through February 24. On the first day (February 15) the show will open at noon and will run till 10:00 PM, on other days it will be open from 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM. On the final day (February 24) it will close at 6:00 PM.
Currently, the 40th anniversary is held in the Metro Toronto Convention Center, at 255 Front Street West in downtown Toronto, which is big enough to hold an event of such magnitude. Underground parking is available, either from Front Street or Bremner Boulevard, but you have to pay for parking.
The fastest and the easiest way to get the entrance tickets is from its website. It costs $19.80 for adults, $6.30 for children aged 7 to 12. A two-day pass for adult will cost $28.80 while the family pass for two adults and two children is $39.60. Online ticket price and the door price will differ.
The show also has a Children's Playcare Centre; Day-care professionals will take care and entertain your children at no charge while you stroll around the show.
The show will be held in two different buildings of the Convention Center; the North and South Buildings with new cars displaying in both. Maps are available in the event or you can download PDF from the CIAS website.
If you are wandering which day to attend the show, well the CIAS website suggests you to attend on Zoomers Day if you are 55 year or older. Zoomers day takes place on the first official day (February 15 starting from noon) of the Auto Show to experience the display of the amazing vehicles.
