Brandi Glanville may have promised to tone things down a bit once she ends her book tour for “Drinking & Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders,” but until then she seems to be operating at full speed, this time dishing on her real feelings about her co-star Adrienne Maloof’s relationship with a younger man.
In an appearance on CNN anchor Anderson Cooper’s daytime show “Anderson Live,” Glanville got frank about her feelings for her “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” rival Adrienne Maloof. Maloof, who divorced her husband Paul Nassif in November, recently announced that she is dating 32-year-old entrepeneur Sean Stewart, the son of rocker Rod Stewart, who is 19 years her junior.
“I didn’t realize, Adrienne is dating Rod Stewart’s son?” Cooper asked Glanville, cuing a photo of the couple that was projected on the TV. “Ugh, I’m sorry, it’s just… yikes. It’s a bad visual,” Glanville responded.
“Why, because of the age thing?” Cooper asked. “Yeah, the whole thing,” Glanville answered.
When Anderson pointed out that it’s not uncommon for older men to date noticeably younger women, Glanville said that the age difference wasn’t really what bothered her about the couple.
"There's nothing wrong with that," Glanville said. "It's just those two people. It just makes me want to throw up in my mouth a little and swallow it."
“Adrienne and I, we really get along well,” Glanville added, joking.
When pressed on the subject of Maloof, Glanville said that what she doesn’t like about the businesswoman is the way that Maloof allegedly uses others to do her “dirty work.”
“The problem is, Adrienne uses other people to do her dirty work for her, so she uses her chef and different people to say really negative things about all of us without getting her hands dirty,” Glanville said. “I don’t know if a lot of people have turned against her, but she was like pretty bad to Lisa [Vanderpump], she was horrible to me. I think everyone else is still kind of friendly with her, to be honest.”
Glanville accusation comes weeks after Maloof’s ex-husband filed a lawsuit against Maloof’s personal chef Bernie Guzman, alleging that he tried to blackmail and extort the Beverly Hills plastic surgeon.
Glanville and Maloof have engaged in an ongoing feud that blew up on the reality TV show when Glanville accused Maloof of lying about her family. Although the full allegation Glanville made against Maloof was edited out of the episode of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” the Huffington Post reported that the former model had claimed that Maloof hired a pregnancy surrogate to carry all three of her children and later lied about it.
Maloof and her now ex-husband were outraged by Glanville’s comments, which Maloof described as “character assassination.
