A group of teachers were shocked when they discovered that a young student scored 161 in IQ.

Such a score means that she is cleaver than some iconic personalities who have been considered cleverest of all people in the world.

Lauren Marbe (16) from Essex, England has a higher IQ than Bill Gates, Stephen Hawking and Albert Einstein, according a Daily Mail report published Tuesday.

She participated in the Mansa IQ test, initially for fun, and scored one point higher than the scores of the aforementioned personalities putting her in the list of one of the smartest persons in the world.

Mansa is an international high-IQ society that was established in 1946 with the idea of forming a society for bright people. The only criterion for membership to this society is a high IQ. Lauren Marbe's enrolment into the Mansa society means she is among the 2 percent population of the world who are the smartest.

"It was such an achievement and I got a bit tearful to tell you the truth...I was one of the last people to get my result and everybody before me had got around the 130 mark so that was the kind of result I was expecting. My teachers knew I was quite clever because of my grades but they had always thought I was blonde and a bit ditzy," The Inquisitr has quoted Marbe as saying.

The 16-year-old daughter of a black cab driver dreams of being a performer in the West End. The teenager likes Towie parties, fake tanning, having blond highlights and manicures, the newspaper has reported.

Being a part of the Mansa society which currently has only 110,000 members and having the name of being smarter than Einstain, Marbe will be known to people as a young "girl with IQ of 161."
