R&B princess Rihanna reveals a different side of her personality in her newest music video Stay, as she strips bare physically and emotionally in a surprising display of vulnerability.

In the video, the 24-year-old songstress sits nude in a bathtub in quiet contemplation-although it is more intimate than it is sexy.

While Stay was penned by featured artist Mikky Ekko, it is obvious that the award-winning artist was able to find a way to connect deeply with the meaning of the song. With the camera focused on her make-up free and tear-stained face, Rihanna lets her guard down and exposes her raw emotions to the world.

Both the song and the video are different from what the industry is used to getting from Rihanna. Proving she is as versatile as she is interesting, the singer reigns in her wild side completely for Stay. While her previous music capitalized on danceable beats and empowering lyrics, this latest ballad is powerful in a different way as the emotions and heartfelt lyrics elevated the song.

Among most artists in the entertainment business, Rihanna has been in a rollercoaster ride the past few years. Her past and present relationships (especially with Chris Brown) have put her in the spotlight, but also subjected her to much criticism.

The high profile couple has made their reconciliation public, angering many fans and critics. Rihanna has defended the decision in an interview saying, "Even if it's a mistake, it's my mistake."

In the recent Grammy Awards, Rihanna and Brown showed the world how happy their new relationship is as they held hands and put on a significant amount of PDA. The songstress even sent the rumor mill into overdrive as she flashed a diamond ring during an onstage performance, leaving the audience wondering if the pair is engaged.
