As Robert Pattinson continues to film his new movie The Rover in Australia, Kristen Stewart was spotted partying with British singer Ellie Goulding backstage at her Los Angeles concert.

In an image posted on Goulding's Instagram page, the 22-year-old Twilight actress is seen with a group of friends, in her trademark backwards baseball cap. She also wore thick rimmed glasses and a loose grey jumper. The two reportedly became close friends after the 26-year-old Starry Eyed hit maker contributed to the Breaking Dawn Part 2 soundtrack. Stewart was also spotted at one of her LA shows last November.

This comes amid reports that Rupert Sanders, the Snow White and the Huntsman director, who was caught cheating with Stewart, is likely to reconnect with the actress once again.

Sanders' wife, actress and model Liberty Ross filed divorce papers in Los Angeles on 25 January, six months after the affair came to light.

"Rob's friends are warning him that she cheated once, so what's stopping her from doing it again?" a friend told In Touch Weekly , "She's desperate to hold on to [Rob] but she felt that way before - and she still cheated."

A friend of the father-of-two told the magazine said that it could be the director to make the first move.

"It wouldn't surprise me at all if Kristen and Rupert got back in touch, and it would be Rupert who reached out," he added, "He was infatuated with her."

The insider said that "with so many people watching her every move, if she hooks up with Rupert, he'll find out about it." And if that happens, "They'll be done for good."

Meanwhile, Stewart's recently grabbed a leading role in the film The Big Shoe and will be seen opposite Jim Sturgess.
