Just when the area is still digging up the snow accumulated from the blizzard, the Greater Toronto Area will experience another troublesome weather.

Environment Canada issued a warning Sunday that GTA could experience freezing rain from Sunday evening.

It said that regions of Halton, Peel, York and Durham would see freezing rain.

Environment Canada predicted rain for Toronto Sunday evening. Only the northern part of the city had the risk of freezing rain, the national weather agency reported.

The warning for freezing rain also covered Ottawa, Kingston, Barrie and Waterloo.

With about 30 centimeters of snow piled up because of the snowstorm, and a high of 6 degrees predicted for Southern Ontario, the area could also experience flooding, officials said to CP24 news.
