Supermodel Gisele Bundchen introduced her newborn daughter, Vivian Lake, to Facebook on Friday.
In a “special post” for fans, Gisele shared a photo of her and her second child, marking the first time she’s showed her daughter’s face to the world.
“Love is everything!!! Happy friday, much love to all,” Bundchen wrote in a caption on the Facebook post, after adding in Portuguese, “O amor é tudo!!! Uma ótima sexta, muito amor a todos.”
2-month-old Vivian Lake is the second child for Gisele, and the third for her husband, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. In addition to the couple’s older son, Benjamin, 3, Brady also has a 5-year-old son named Jack, from a previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.
Although Moynahan’s pregnancy with Jack wasn’t publicly announced until after she and Brady had already split, Gisele has gushed over her affection for Jack and said that she loves watching him interact with her own son Benjamin.
In a 2009 interview with Vanity Fair which reportedly angered Moynahan, Gisele went as far as to say that she considered Jack her own son. "I love him the same way as if he were mine. I already feel like he's my son, from the first day . . . He's my little angel — the sweetest, most cuddly, loving baby. I feel blessed to have him in my life,” Gisele told the magazine. “I understand that he has a mom, and I respect that. But to me, it's not like because somebody else delivered him, that's not my child — I feel it is, 100 percent."
But despite her strong love for her stepson, Gisele later admitted that giving birth to Benjamin was the “most amazing” thing she had ever been through.
"It was the most amazing experience of my life, feeling him come through my body," she said. "And once he was born, I never felt so empowered as looking at him and thinking, Oh, my God, we did it together!"
And the second-time mother isn’t the only one excited about raising a growing family. Brady has also spoken about his desire to be a good dad, telling V Man, “I have to do something [after football]. The only thing I ever wanted to be was a professional football player. It's hard because I want to have four kids and I want to be a really good dad, too.”
Bundchen gave birth to Vivian at the couple’s home on Dec. 5. She and Brady announced the news in a statement, saying, “We feel so lucky to have been able to experience the miracle of birth once again and are forever grateful for the opportunity to be the parents of another little angel.”
