A woman allegedly passed on drugs to her son by French kissing him in a New York Jail.
According to prosecutors, 54-year-old Kimberly Margeson passed on two strong painkiller pills from her mouth to her son William Partridge's mouth while she visited him last week.
Oxycodone pills were carried by Margeson in her mouth, into the jail for her son who is under arrest for possessing weapons, a Yates County Sheriff's Department document obtained by Smoking Gun revealed.
"Investigation revealed that ... Kimberly put Oxycodone pills (a Narcotic) into her mouth and brought them into the jail when she visited her son William Partridge who is an inmate," the police report stated. "Margeson then passed the Oxycodone from her mouth to her sons [sic] mouth when she kissed him."
The report further suggests that the drugs were brought into the jail for William Patridge's personal use and not for the purpose of resale. The woman was arrested on a felony drug count and a misdemeanor count of promoting prison contraband.
She however pleaded not guilty of the charges and has been released on a $2,000 bail, while her 30-year-old son continues to remain in jail charged with the misdemeanor count of promoting prison contraband. He will be arraigned on Monday in the Village of Penn Yan court.
Oxycodone is an opioid narcotic pain reliever similar to morphine and is used to treat moderate to severe pain. The extended-release form of this medication is for around-the-clock treatment of pain.
