"Grammys 2013 Predictions: Who Will Win"
Record of the Year
» The Black Keys: "Lonely Boy"
» Kelly Clarkson: "Stronger"
» Fun feat. Janelle Monae: "We Are Young"
» Gotye feat. Kimbra: "Somebody That I Used to Know"
» Frank Ocean: "Thinkin Bout You"
» Taylor Swift: "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together"
A very competitive category, but Taylor Swift has successfully been coming up with great album every two years, said former music critic Aaron Ellis. She may not bring home the award for her single “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” but Swift and Funfeat for her single, “We are Young” are seen as a tough contenders at this category. “Somebody That I Used to Know” by Gotye is the toughest one and could bring home Grammys for this award.

Album of the Year
» The Black Keys: El Camino
» Fun: Some Nights
» Mumford & Sons: Babel
» Frank Ocean: Channel Orange
» Jack White: Blunderbuss
Mumford & Sons is seen as the one to beat for the Album of the Year category for their record, “Babel.” The group had a great year, with the single, “Not With Haste” was used as soundtrack for the movie “Brave”, one of the top grossing films of the year. After releasing Babel in September, it sold 1 million copies worldwide in its first week alone, continued Ellis.

Song of the Year
» Ed Sheeran: "The A Team"
» Miguel: "Adorn"
» Carly Rae Jepsen: "Call Me Maybe"
» Kelly Clarkson: "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)"
» Fun: "We Are Young"
Again, there was no clear favorite on the “Song of the Year” category, which looks into the songwriter and not the performer. So, even if Kelly Clarkson, American Idol’s original winner, has produced great music over the years, she is likely to suffer being “overlooked” by the Grammy voters, unless the sun is on her side, this time. Clarkson could be one to beat but she has tough competitors in the category.
