European Market Briefing: Shares Rise Ahead of Key Rate Decisions, RBS Awaits Libor Fate [VIDEO]

European stocks rose again Wednesday after solid corporate earnings and continued investor optimism over the pace of recovery for the global economy.

Britain's FTSE 100 added to modest gains from yesterday to take the benchmark past 6,300 and within touching distance of a five year high while the region-wide FTSE Eurofirst 300 added around 6 points to trade at 1,160.25.
