Donald Faison is going to be a father, his wife CaCee Cobb announced on Twitter.
“Looks like @donald_faison and I are going to have a little stormtropper of our own,” Cobb wrote, along with a photo of a baby Star Wars T-shirt tied the knot Saturday after six years together.
The “Scrubs” actor and Cobb, a former personal assistant, wed last month in a ceremony at fellow "Scrubs" co-star Zach Braff's home in Los Angeles, Us Weekly reported.
Cobb's maid of honor was her close friend Jessica Simpson. After the wedding, Simpson tweeted, "I was the maid of honor last night for my BF @caceecobb. She was the most beautiful bride I have ever seen in my life!"
When Simpson had her reality show alongside ex-husband Nick Lachey, MTV's "Newlyweds" in 2004, Cobb was her personal assistant as well as her close friend. Since “Newlyweds,” Cobb also appeared in Simpson's VH1 reality show, "The Price of Beauty" in 2010.
Faison, in addition to be on “Scrubs,” has also had roles in films and shows as "Clueless," "Remember the Titans," "Waiting to Exhale," "Felicity," and "Can't Hardly Wait."
Faison and Cobb got engaged in August 2011.
Faison afterwards announced on Twitter, "If you like it then you better put a Ring on it." Cobb tweeted in response, "If she likes it then she better say YES!!"
