Vinny Chase and the boys are headed to the big screen according to a recent report from Deadline Hollywood.

The online magazine reports that Warner Bros. has given the green light to a movie version of the ultra-successful HBO series which ran from 2004-11. The movie would reprise the adventures the fictional film star Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier and entourage, including his controversial agent Ari Gold, portrayed by Jeremy Piven.

Negotiations are reportedly underway for the film which is to be directed by series creator Doug Ellin. Ellin, who exec produced the series with Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson, posted a Twitter picture of the finished screenplay right around New Years.

Deals are starting to be made with Grenier and Piven, as well as Kevin Connolly, who played his manager Eric “E” Murphy, Kevin Dillon, who played the actor’s brother Johnny Drama, and Jerry Ferrara, who played their entrepreneurial driver Turtle, Deadline reports.

Other key characters expected to be brought back to the “Entourage” set include Drama’s agent Lloyd (Rex Lee), E’s girl Sloan (Emmanuelle Chriqui), his management partner Scott (Scott Caan), their quirky director collaborator Billy Walsh (Rhys Coiro) and Ari’s agency partner Barbara Miller (Beverly D’Angelo).

While there is no start date for filming, speculation of a storyline can be attributed the scene after the season finale episode credits in which Ari finally gave up his career and pledged his devotion to his long suffering gorgeous wife (Perry Reeves), only to get a last minute phone call offering him his dream job of running a film studio.
