Shateria Moragne-el (second from right) was reportedly the passenger in Rick Ross's Rolls-Royce when a gunman fired at the vehicle early Monday morning. This photo was taken the night before at Ross's birthday party in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, from which they were likely driving home when the shooting took place.
Ross was driving his Rolls-Royce in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., with Moragne-el in the passenger seat when a gunman fired "dozens" of shots at the vehicle at about 5 a.m. Monday, none of which hit the vehicle, according to TMZ.
Ross ended up crashing his Rolls-Royce into a building in an attempt to evade the shooter, but neither he or Moragne-el were injured in the incident, TMZ reported.
TMZ added in a follow-up article that police are gathering surveillance footage shot by a camera at a nearby building, but that no arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified in the shooting incident. The Examiner reports that speculation is growing that the shooting may have been a follow-up on death threats made against Ross in December.

Moragne-el is reportedly Ross's main squeeze, and according to her official Twitter account, she was attending a birthday event for the hip-hop mogul Sunday night just hours before the shooting incident.
Moragne-el is best-known as a consultant for leading fashion publications, but on Sept. 11 she launched Front Row Coutoure, her debut fashion collection, at an event at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York featuring performances by musicians JoJo and Nicole of Nina Sky fame, according to the NYC Culture Style blog.
The fashion line is one of her main focuses nowadays, and she has established quite the following as one of fashion's up-and-coming names.
"The hierarchy of the fashion world operates around one notion-making the cut. Meaning, are you 'In crowd', 'Out crowd', the A-list, B-list, the 'Uninhibited' or … the coveted 'Front Row?' the official description of Front Row reads on the line's home page. "Front Row Couture is an innovative luxe brand that represents front-of-the-line privilege. The clothing is meant for fashion lovers and leaders – the confident, the gracious and the faithful."
Moragne-el is from Maryland, where she attended the Baltimore of the Arts, majoring in ballet and modern dance, though quickly after graduating she shifted focus to fashion, according to the Front Row homepage. She went on to work as a stylist and fashion consultant before becoming involved with Ross and launching Frontrow.
"Knowing a thing or two about Front Row life, she decided to create a line that would make her consumers feel the same way," the Frontrow website explains. "Her clothing and designs ensure comfort, confidence and appeal. Front Row couture represents unmatched style and freedom – inspiring its consumers to be seen on the scene and never settle for anything less than the Front Row."
