Samsung Galaxy S4 Release Date is ‘Coming Soon’, Says Samsung VP

The much awaited Samsung Galaxy S4 will be released soon, according to Samsung Vice President JK Shin after he denied that the device will make its debut at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month.
Korean publication News1 reported, Shin confirmed that a certain Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is set for release at the Mobile World Congress spilling the beans that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be a no-show at the said event.
In the report, Shin suggested that the Galaxy S4 will be coming "soon" but did not give out details as when and where the device will make its debut. Shin also claimed that Samsung did not bring a Galaxy S4 prototype at the recently concluded Consumers Electronics Show.
With the hint from a Samsung's executive, new speculations arise claiming that the Galaxy S4 may be released in the latter weeks of the first quarter of 2013 or early in the second quarter.
It was initially reported that the Samsung Galaxy S4 is pegged for release on either the second or third quarter of the year as it is planning for a head start over its rival. Samsung revealed that the much awaited smartphone will be released post May of this year.
Some of the rumoured specifications for the Galaxy S4 include a 5-inch FHD Super AMOLED 1980 x 1080 Flexible Display, 4G LTE connectivity, Android 5.0, Key Lime Pie, a 13-megapixel camera, and Samsung's latest processor, the Exynos 5 Octa that the company introduced at CES.
Latest rumour claimed that the smartphone will be equipped with wireless charging feature like that of Nokia Lumia 920. According to a report from Korean publication DDaily, the Galaxy S4 will feature wireless charging using the familiar Qi standard such as the Nokia Lumia 920 on AT&T.
Samsung released no official comment yet on the rumours surrounding its upcoming devices.
