iPhone 6 to Have Same Release Date with Samsung Galaxy S4?

According to a couple analysts, the next iPhone will release in May or June, come in different sizes, and eventually be joined by an iPhone mini down the line. The iPhone 6 or iPhone 5S according to Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White, will release in a variety of colours and screen sizes.
Samsung Lebanon claimed that Samsung Galaxy S4 will be released after May 2013. However, this piece of information is not proven accurate. If rumours proved to be true, iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S4 will probably have the same release date that will further intensify the competition.
According to Brian White, "Our checks indicate that the next iPhone will have more choices for customers. This entails an expansion in both the color patterns and screen sizes with the next iPhone (i.e., likely called the iPhone 5S) that we currently believe will be launched in May/June with certain supply production starting in March/April."
The different screen sizes would allow for Apple to attack multiple price points and better compete with Samsung, which is expected to outpace Apple in 2013 due to the wide variety of products it offers.
Apple may go for a radical change this year as rumours claimed that the iPhone 6 will allow consumers to have a choice on what size and colour they want for their smartphone.
The analyst believes Apple will be finally trying to compete with the full range of Android smartphones by offering the iPhone 6 in a variety of screen sizes starting with the 3.5-inch screen found on the iPhone 4, the iPhone 5's 4-inch screen and finally a new larger screen for the iPhone 6.
Apple already offering other products in a range of colours White believes Apple will combine both elements of customisation to truly take on the ever-growing Android market currently dominated by Android smartphones. The iPod Nano and iPod Touch now available in a range of colours Apple could well be expanding this with the iPhone traditionally only being available in black and white.
Reports said that the iPhone 6 will include a "Super HD" screen display and camera. Speculations claimed that it is beyond the Full HD displays in HTC Droid DNA.
This notion is backed up by an analyst. According to Jefferies stock analyst Peter Misek, "the iPhone 5S has a new 'super HD camera/screen, a better battery, and NFC,' and 'possible updates include an IGZO screen for Retina+, 128GB storage."
As usual, the Cupertino-based company remained tight-lipped about the details of its upcoming smartphone.
