Newtown Shooting: Sandy Hook Elementary School Victims Named By Connecticut State Police

The 20 children and six adults shot and killed by a lone gunman at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown Friday were named by the Connecticut State Police Saturday.

The state police also detailed the actions taken by law-enforcement authorities in the wake of the most deadly shooting spree at a primary school in U.S. history.

The names and ages of the children are as follow:

Daniel Barden, 7
Olivia Engel, 6
Josephine Gay, 7
Dylan Hockley, 6
Madeleine F. Hsu, 6
Catherine V. Hubbard, 6
Chase Kowalski, 7
Jesse Lewis, 6
Ana M. Marquez-Greene, 6
James Mattioli, 6
Grace McDonnell, 7
Emilie Parker    , 6
Jack Pinto, 6
Noah Pozner, 6
Caroline Previdi, 6
Jessica Rekos, 6
Avielle Richman, 6
Benjamin Wheeler, 6
Allison N. Wyatt, 6
