Fulham Plan January Swoop for Liverpool Midfielder - Report

Fulham are reportedly planning a move for Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson in January.
The 22 year old, who arrived at Anfield from Sunderland last season, has failed to secure a starting spot in the Reds' first team under Brendan Rodgers. The England international previously insisted he wanted to fight for his career at Merseyside but the Cottagers will now attempt to lure the player to west London by offering him regular first-team action, according to Goal.com.
The report also claims Liverpool offered Henderson to Fulham in the summer, in a part-exchange deal for forward Clint Dempsey, but the arrangement eventually fell through.
Cottagers boss Martin Jol knows he has failed to find an effective replacement for Belgian Moussa Dembele, who made the switch across London to join Tottenham Hotspur in the summer, and is understood to be keen on snapping up Henderson.
Schwarzer Ready for QPR Game
Meanwhile, Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer is confident the club's 2-1 win over Newcastle United earlier this week will inspire them to clinch victory against west London rivals QPR over the weekend. The 40 year old shot stopper, who has been in good form this season, also feels his side should have scored more goals against the Magpies.
"It's a massive game. We just need to recover now and take the confidence from Monday night's game into the weekend. We should have won by more against Newcastle. We had some very good chances, not half-chances or lucky chances - very, very good ones. Their keeper played very well and on another day we might have won more comfortably," the Australian told the club's official Web site.
"But of course we're pleased to have won. It was a big game, Newcastle were on similar points to us and it was important to get a win. We'd gone seven games without a win, we'd been unlucky at times, so it's nice to be back to winning ways," the veteran pointed out.
