1)      Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes: The couple, popularly called 'TomKat', tied the knot with much fanfare in 2006 but they filed for divorce in June this year. They have a daughter, named Suri, together.

2)      Russell Crowe-Danielle Spencer: The 48-year-old actor and the Australian singer married in 2003 after a long relationship and they have two sons together. However, they announced in October that they have parted ways.

3)      Seal-Heidi Klum: They were known for being dedicated to each other and used to renew their marriage vows every year but they shocked the world earlier this year by announcing their split. They have three kids together.

4)      Justin Bieber-Selena Gomez: The young celebrity couple Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez had reportedly parted ways a couple of months ago after dating for a while now. Reports are doing the rounds that they back together again but they have not opened up yet.

5)      Johnny Depp-Vanessa Paradis: The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor parted ways with French actress and singer Vanessa Paradis after 14 years of relationship. They have two children together.

6)      Adam Levine-Anne Vyalitsyna: The Maroon 5 singer announced in 2010 that he was dating Victoria's Secret model Anne Vyalitsyna. However, the couple announced in April this year that they have split.

7)      Dennis Quaid-Kimberly Buffington: The 58-year-old American actor's third marriage failed after he parted ways with his third wife Kimberly Buffington this year. Quaid was earlier married to actress P. J. Soles and actress Meg Ryan.

9)      Peter Facinelli-Jennie Garth: The celebrity couple has filed for divorce after 11 years of marriage. They married in 2001 and have three children together.

10)    Danny DeVito-Rhea Perlman: The American actor and filmmaker married actress Rhea Perlman in 1982 after 10 years of relationship. However, it is reported that the couple has ended their 30 years of marriage.
