Samantha Jade, Jason Owen, and The Collective each performed three songs Monday night. With each song, they tried to convince the audience to vote and help them bag the win on the show's grand finale. They each performed their audition song, their proposed winner's single, and their mentor's choice.
Here are video clips of each Aussie contestant's prospective first single upon winning the X-Factor title for 2012.
Video: Jason Owen, "Make it Last"
Owen may not have the vocal prowess of Samantha Jade or the 'One Direction vibe' of The Collective, but he obviously could have managed a more challenging song. It is quite a shame that at such a crucial point in the competition, he was not given the best material he could have.

Samantha Jade is ready to rock her own concerts. This girl is likely to win the whole thing by Tuesday night. Jade blossomed from awkward to halfway-there to visually stunning on stage. As for her voice, she sounds powerful, passionate, and current.

The young boy band has the potential to draw a huge fan base among Australian teen and tween girls. They could very well become Australia's One Direction. They were given the right material to showcase their stage personalities, and obviously, the fans loved them.
