Another history in music was made at the Nokia Theatre, Los Angeles last November 18, 2012. The 40th Annual American Music Awards overflowed with the biggest names in American pop music. Different artists sported their awesomeness and sexiness on the red carpet.

 Of course, there will be the best dressed and the worse dressed. Some went home victorious and some went home empty handed. Yet, whatever happened, it was a successful event.

 The-22-year-old "Red" singer Taylor Swift "wowed" everyone when she showed off her legs and back, which by the way everyone rarely saw - wearing a nude-toned metallic mini dress. Swift won the "Best Country Female Artist."

 Despite of being separated from Selena Gomez, the 18-year-old Canadian singer-songwriter, Justin Bieber was the biggest winner of the AMA 2012. Justin took home the "Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist", "Favorite Pop/Rock Album ("Believe")" and the event's biggest award "Artist of the year" beating out Rihanna, Katy Perry, Maroon 5 and Drake. Even though Bieber and Gomez broke up, the Biebs still managed to bring a date to the AMAs and it was none other than Mommy Pattie! Well thanks to Bieber-Gomez split up her mom got the chance to attend the show!

"First of all, I want to say, this is for all the haters who thought that maybe I was here for one or two years - but i feel like I'm gonna be here for a long time," said Justin for his victory, adding, "Second of all, I want to thank my mom, Scooter Braun for being a mentor and role model ... wanna thank my family at home; thank all of my beautiful, beautiful fans; and last thing, I love everybody!"

As for Justin's fashion get up, the 18-old sported an all-black look except for his spiky red slippers.

The sexy ass, Nicki Minaj was also a multiple winner in the AMA 2012. Minaj took home the "Favorite rap/hip hop album ("Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded")" and "favorite rap/hip hop artist."

The 24-year-old Barbadian artist, Rihanna wasn't there to accept her award "favorite soul/R&B album ("Talk That Talk")" given she was currently on tour.
