Popstar Rihanna is preparing to embark on her most ambitious tour yet - her 777 tour.

The Diamonds stars will perform concerts in seven cities across seven dates to celebrate the release of her seventh studio album, Unapologetic.

The intimate shows will see the 24-year-old singer take in London, New York and Paris travelling between shows on a Boeing 777 twinjet.

RiRi will also be taking a lucky group of die-hard fans and journalists along with her for the whirlwind experience.

"I am so excited about the '777' tour. We are turning this jumbo jet into our tour bus. We are practically living on this thing for a week: sleeping, partying all together. Me, my fans, the press... it's going to be a wild ride," the songstress told fans on her official website.

"I wanted it to be a rock 'n' roll adventure, and I think when it's over it will be the coolest thing I've ever done. I'm that excited about it."

Unapologetic is expected to be released worldwide on 19 November.
